WorldHealthRecord uses 256-bit encryption on its web page. This is the same type of security banks use on their web sites. We do not require any sensitive financial information such as your social security number for registration. YOU control your password and information on this site.

Who owns information on this web site.?
You do. It is our policy that you own your health care information on this web site. WorldHealthRecord securely stores all of your health care information. We also provide tools to help you manage your health care. You own your health care information, we provide you a safe place to manage it.

What about HIPAA?
We take HIPAA very seriously and abide by HIPAA policies and principles. All our staff have signed HIPAA disclosures prior to any possible contact with patient information. These are the same standards followed by any healthcare provider in the U.S.

What about your advertisers?
WorldHealthRecord does not share your information with our advertisers or any outside entity without your express permission. Yes we do use advertisers to support this site, but NO WE DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION TO THEM.

Why not put all the information on a thumb drive?
WorldHealthRecord does not endorse placing your information on a thumb drive. We feel that this poses a security risk and is inadequate for storage of large amounts of information, such as images or scanned files.
