3. Scan and Update

We know that not all your medical information is completely digital: some consists of pictures and movie files, etc. to include this in your medical history we have provided a secure file upload site with your medical record on WorldHealthRecord.com.

"Will I have to scan all this paper?"
For the time being, yes. You will have to scan or have scanned our medical documents. Some hospitals and medical centers may provide a CD of this, which you can upload documents from. Most any files formats are supported and your data is held securely on our servers.

"What can I upload?"
If you can scan your files you can upload them in any file format. We recommend a file format such as PDF, JPG or other format that can be read by any computer system.

"How can I import data from other Websites?"
We are actively working on "one click" digital transfer of information between medical records, other personal health records and WorldHealthRecord. One possibility right now is to open your current personal health record and save the pages as PDF files or Microsoft Image files on your Mac or PC. (File > Print Page > hit the PDF button if Mac or save as Microsoft image file if using Windows)
